Kefalonia beach

The island’s most popular beach, and registered trademark, is Myrtos beach 30 km from Argostoli.

Myrtos beach is a white pebbled beach that creates a mesmerising contrast with the turquoise waters of the Ionian Sea. An equally stunning and beautiful beach is Antisamos. The landscape is similar, as it is surrounded by the Avgo (Egg) Mountain. This beach became popular thanks the movie "Captain Corelli’s Mandolin" which was filmed on the island. Emblissi is another of the island’s breathtaking beaches. It is located near the village of Fiskardo. Foki is another beach near Fiskardo, which is named after the Mediterranean seals that enjoy the waters in the area. As for the islands sandy beaches, Skala and Lourdata are among the best. Xi beach is also a sandy beach, but what makes it stand out from the rest is its reddish color due to its rich clay content. You can also enjoy sunbathing and swimming at Ammes, Saint Heli, Lygia and Agios Thomas beach in Travliatta. On the south shore of the island, there lies Avithos, Trapezaki, Limenia, Makria Petra and Lazaros beaches. The beaches of Agia Efimia and Platia Ammos are located on the north shore, while on the west coast you will find Petanos and the Grand Lakkos beaches.

All these beautiful beaches are easily accessible From "Skinos Ilivatos Eco Villa and Estate"..
