The relationship between Man and horse was forged centuries ago when not only did Man rely on his horse for transportation and working the fields but relied on him for his very survival.

Now we know contact with this magnificent animal has spiritual and mental healing properties. On our estate "Skinos Ilivatos Eco Villa and Estate" horseback riding takes place in and around the estate including the area of Chavriata where you can get acquainted with the agricultural production and organic farming techniques of the area. Five Appaloosa horses and a donkey can be your initiation into riding, or you can just pet them for as long as you like.

Note: Since we are NOT a riding school, riding can only be done by experienced riders. For the beginners, lessons are provided and beach walks are arranged by the "Kefalos" Equestrian Club.
